 Better Animation Events v1.18 (16 Dec 2025) is a tool designed to edit Animation Events intuitively using Unity's native Animation Timeline workflow. Created to address frustrations with the native animation system, this package aims to reduce common pain points for developers. It provides a clean, scalable solution for editing Animation Clips with multiple events, even in complex or dense timelines, and is optimized for performance to handle large numbers of events efficiently. All project data is stored using ScriptableObject, enabling a clear separation between editable data and the original AnimationClip asset. This allows free modification of events in the editor without altering the source file until changes are explicitly applied. When edits are applied, the tool completely overwrites the original AnimationClip’s events with the updated data. Designed for scalable workflows requiring frequent event edits, it requires no setup and continues to evolve through regular updates and new features.
