Hot Rod Constructor: Modular Battle Cars v1.0 is a game resource pack that offers modular classic cars capable of being transformed into hot rods, post-apocalyptic battle cars, or sci-fi hovercrafts. The pack includes over 400 modules, 60 pre-assembled vehicles, and more than 200 possible combinations. It supports the creation of vintage cars, hot rods, off-road vehicles, battle cars, and flying sci-fi vehicles.
The resource pack features 60 pre-assembled vehicles and can be further expanded with the Hot Rod Constructor pack. Textures are optimized to work well with both HDRP and URP shaders; existing Standard materials can be converted via the Edit/Rendering menu. The pack has been tested in Unity 6.
Polygon counts vary by vehicle type: simple cars without interiors use 6–8k triangles, those with interiors use 7–10k triangles, and battle cars with multiple attachments can reach up to 13k triangles. The triangle counts of vehicles in the screenshots are clearly labeled.
Assembly is straightforward: the process begins with the BODY, which contains SOCKETS (empty game objects) in its hierarchy for attaching other parts such as bonnets, chassis, and fenders. These parts may contain additional snapping points, allowing components to snap into place when dropped into corresponding sockets.
All parts and characters use a single texture that can be repainted using any editor's Paint Bucket Tool. The texture can be downsized to 256x256 without visible quality loss. It includes the following channels: Base Color (11 colors), Metalness/Smoothness, Mask Map for HDRP, and Emission.
The pack includes four rigged characters with car-related animations: Driver and Passenger (Idle), Enter/Exit Car, and Driver (Steer). The BODY parts feature animations matching the character animations, while CHASSIS parts are rigged to allow suspension animation.
