 vTabs 2 v2.1.4 (22 Dec 2025) introduces a powerful and intuitive tab system to enhance productivity within the Unity Editor. With drag-and-drop functionality, users can easily create folder tabs and inspector tabs for assets, GameObjects, or components. Navigate between tabs by scrolling, with Shift enabling tab switching and Ctrl-Shift allowing tab movement—both with smooth scroll animations. Save frequently used tabs by bookmarking them and quickly accessing them with Ctrl-T. The package supports browser-like keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl-T to open a new tab, Ctrl-W to close a tab, and Ctrl-Shift-T to reopen a previously closed one. vTabs 2 seamlessly integrates with other editor enhancers, such as vHierarchy 2 and vFolders 2, displaying their icon sets directly within GameObject and folder tabs.
