 COZY: Plume - Volumetric Clouds Module v1.4.2 (12 Feb 2026) introduces fully volumetric, particle-based clouds designed for COZY 3. The module uses a cell-based chunk system to procedurally generate cloud particles, enabling efficient cloud creation at any altitude, speed, or location. It features automatic chunk generation, culling, and pooling for fast performance, with the ability to bend clouds toward the horizon to simulate a curved planetary surface. A profile system allows users to design custom cloud types, while automatic animation supports custom wind speed and direction. Nearby chunk normals are combined to form large, cohesive clouds, and cloud colliders and accurate shadows are generated. Noise calculations are spread across multiple chunks to improve performance, and the module works seamlessly with or without COZY’s default cloud types. Five cloud profiles are included: Default Volumetric Clouds, Tall Volumetric Clouds, Thin Volumetric Clouds, Tiny Volumetric Clouds, and Performant Volumetric Clouds—optimized for light systems. The module requires COZY 3.0+ to function properly.
