 uTire Dynamic Tire Deformation V2 v1.0 is a tire deformation solution designed to be fast, convincing-looking, well integrated, and easy to use. It adds realism to any vehicle with wheels without significant performance cost. The solution works with any vehicle using built-in WheelCollider, WheelController3D, or VehiclePhysicsPro's WheelCollider, and can be applied without altering physics—visual deformation is completely decoupled from PhysX. It can be integrated into finished projects within minutes, adding visual interest without changing behavior. It supports any vehicle asset from the store and integrates with Vehicle Physics Pro and NWH2. The solution is lightweight, using the job system for raycasting and vertex shaders for deformation. It includes Amplify Shader Editor support—drag "uTireV2 Base Function" into the VertexOffset slot and add "uTireV2" to your shader name for automatic setup. It does not rely on mesh normals, works with non-center-pivoted meshes, and can be resized. Each SRP includes three variations: Simple (Albedo, deformation), Standard (PBR with Albedo, Normal, Smoothness, Metallic, Occlusion, deformation), and Tessellation (Standard + Tessellation). The pack includes two wheel meshes: a sport rim and tire (PBR, 2k maps), a 14-inch rim and tire with six thread patterns (PBR, 2k maps), and an offroad rim and tire (no texture).
