 Ultimate Lit Shader v3.5.0 is a replacement for the Standard Shader that uses a slightly different lighting model, helping your game achieve a more unique visual style. It features individual texture inputs (Albedo, Roughness, Metalness, Normal, Height, Ambient Occlusion, Emission) instead of packed maps, which improves workflow flexibility despite a minor performance cost. Each material input texture supports independent exposure settings, making it easier for artists to match look development results. The shader includes a vertex-height blending algorithm that allows seamless blending between two material sets using vertex colors and height maps, enabling quick texturing of simple geometry with texture variations without requiring 3D model editing. Supported in Unity Editor versions 2021.3 LTS and 2022.3 LTS, it works with the URP render pipeline (both Deferred and Forward render paths), and supports DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, and Metal APIs. It is compatible with console, PC, and WebGL platforms. However, it is not supported in the Built-In Render Pipeline, HDRP, mobile, VR, or PlayStation 5 platforms.
